Staff changes

I am sorry to announce that Miss Bowden has decided to leave the school. We are very sad to lose her after 20 years and so very grateful for all the wonderful work she has done in that time.

I am thrilled to announce that José Martín will be taking over from Miss Bowden. José trained at the School of American Ballet and San Francisco Ballet School. After graduating he joined San Francisco Ballet and since then saw him dance as a Soloist in Zurich Ballet, Alberta Ballet, English National Ballet, Boston Ballet, and Royal Ballet as a Senior soloist. José has taught for more than 20 years including companies such as Royal Ballet, English National Ballet and Birmingham Royal Ballet, as well as the School of the National Ballet of Cuba and the Royal Ballet School. He is currently teaching at London Studio Centre.

I also have great pleasure in letting you know that Mary Goodhew will be joining the staff to teach the Senior Foundation and Senior Level classes. Mary trained at the Royal Ballet School before joining Sadler’s Wells Royal Ballet. Mary brings a wealth of experience having held positions including Ballet Principal at White Lodge and Principal of Elmhurst School and Northern Ballet School. Mary was the founder of London Junior Ballet.
